Position Overview:
The Infant and Toddler Teacher will play a pivotal role in shaping the early experiences of our children, fostering their cognitive, emotional, and physical growth.
This role requires a genuine passion for early childhood education, a patient and nurturing demeanor, and a commitment to creating a positive, inclusive environment for all children.
Key
Responsibilities:
Curriculum and Learning Plan, implement, and adapt age-appropriate activities and lessons that stimulate early development.
Regularly assess children's progress and adapt teaching methods to suit individual needs.
Child Care Ensure the safety and well-being of all children under your supervision.
Provide basic care needs such as feeding, changing, and naptime routines.
Attend to the emotional and comfort needs of infants and toddlers.
Communication Establish and maintain open lines of communication with parents, providing regular updates on their child's progress, behavior, and daily activities.
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure continuity and consistency in care.
Health and Safety Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment.
Comply with all state regulations and center policies regarding health and safety.
Conduct regular safety drills and know the protocols for emergencies.
Professional Development Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Stay current with best practices and trends in early childhood education.
Qualifications:
Teacher certified by EEC Mandarin speaking(preferred, not required) Preferred, not required:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field preferred.
Current certification in First Aid and CPR (or willing to obtain).
Experience working with infants and toddlers in a professional setting.
Familiarity with Massachusetts child care regulations and standards.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Patience, flexibility, and a love for working with young children.
